About this Event
A lot of ourselves end up asking the same question: where do I meet friends as an adult outside of work?
Expand your circle and meet some cool new people in a fun and relaxed setting! Meet us on the Deck at Welcome to Thornbury, where we'll get warmed up with some speed friending rounds, then drop the structure for those who want to socialise freely.
The venue has food trucks, an arcade room, and a few bars to enjoy.
We'll be bringing some party games for those who prefer chatting over an activity, or just enjoy board/card games.
Whether you come alone or bring friends, our aim is to help you feel more connected by the time you leave.
What to expect:
- Name tags upon checkin
- 10 minute speed friending rounds at random, in various combinations (one on one and groups)
- A friendly host to greet you and make introductions easier
- Optional party games (like Uno, Jenga, Exploding Kittens, Horrible Therapist etc)
This event will be faciliated by a mental health professional, and is designed for adults of all ages (18+). Harassment and discrimination are not tolerated at our events. If price is a barrier due to your circumstances, please reach out to us to discuss options :)
