Like, trying-to-fold-a-fitted-sheet hard. Especially if the idea of shouting over bar music or fake-laughing through small talk makes you want to escape… Well, guess what? Now you literally can.
Introducing **Meet, Mingle & Escape** — the zero-pressure, max-fun way to meet new people IRL without enduring awkward silences or having to come up with endless conversation starters. This is not a singles-only or a dating event. This is for any adult looking for a fun way to make new friends.
Whether you're an escape room rookie or a puzzle-loving pro with no team to play with, this event is for you. You and other like-minded fun-seekers will play The Inheritance. In this game, you have inherited an estate from a mysterious relative, and must uncover hidden secrets within the manor to claim your legacy.
**Why it works:**
***No awkward small talk** – You’ve got a mission to solve! This means teamwork, laughs, and plenty of “Wait, how did we miss that obvious clue?!”
***No need to be a genius** – A friendly game host is there to nudge you along and ensure everyone’s having fun (and not staring at the same lock for 15 minutes).
***It’s a game, not a networking event** – Games are fun. Pressure is not. This is all about connection, not collection (of business cards or dating app matches).
After the game, you can enjoy snacks and non-alcoholic drinks and hang out with your fellow puzzle pals, or peace out like the mysterious enigma you are. It's up to you!

We are limiting this event to only 8 people (the max for The Inheritance). In November, The Inheritance will be going away forever to make room for our new Christmas game, so don’t miss out on this last chance opportunity to play!

About The Inheritance Escape Room:
*This is NOT a scary room. There are NO jump scares.
*This version of The Inheritance also contains a bonus side quest featuring puzzles from our Puzzled: Whodunit event. If you have already played The Inheritance, but did not attend Puzzled, you can attend this event and there will be several new puzzles to discover!
ACCESSIBILITY:
*This game is on the third floor of the building, which is not wheelchair accessible.
*Hints and some puzzles are audio with no text.
**Event Details:**
* This is not a singles-only or a dating event. This is for anyone looking for a fun way to make new friends.
*Plan to meet in our lobby no later than 6:30 pm for check-in and the pre-game briefing. The game will start at 6:45 pm and is approximately 60 minutes, with snacks and drinks served afterwards.
* Allow time to park and make your way to our lobby on the second floor by 6:30 pm. Detailed parking information and pictures of the entrance are available on our website. www.mysterysoupescaperooms.com
*Tickets are $45 and must be purchased no later than October 7th.
*We need a minimum of 4 attendees for the event to happen. If we don’t have a minimum of 4 people signed up 48 hours before the event, it will be canceled and refunds will be issued. We usually have a good turnout for these events, so we don’t anticipate having to cancel, but just in case.

*Cancellations on or before October 4th will receive a full refund. Cancellations made on or after October 5th, but before the day of the event will receive a $45 credit, which can be used towards another escape room at Mystery Soup. Cancellations/No-shows the day of the event will not be refunded or credited.
