🐾 MEET MILLIE! 🐾
We are SO excited to welcome a very special four-legged guest to the Gretna Crossing YMCA!
Join us Tuesday, October 20 at 6:00 PM for a special family storytime with Millie, a 4-year-old yellow Lab and certified therapy dog, and her human, Emily Jamber, a licensed mental health therapist who has spent more than 10 years working with children.
Millie spends her days helping students process their emotions, offering a calm presence, a listening ear (or two!), and plenty of snuggles. 💙
Together, Emily and Millie will share “Millie’s Manners” and help kids learn about feelings, kindness, caring for others, and the special work therapy dogs do.
📚 A special family storytime

🐾 Learn what a therapy dog does
💙 Talk about feelings, kindness & emotional wellness
🥰 And, of course...hopefully get some Millie snuggles!
