What to expect
What better way to celebrate the longest day of the year than outdoors, surrounded by a friendly, welcoming group?
📍 Saturday 20th June, Hartham Common
⏰ Drop in from 3:30pm – stay as long as you like (until around 7:30/8pm)
Expect:
- Easy, natural conversation (no forced activities)
- Optional games like rounders
- Giant garden games (including Kerplunk!)
- Free cake (until it’s gone 😉)
- A relaxed, social atmosphere
Bring a picnic, a drink, and settle in.
Whether you fancy joining in, watching from the sidelines, or just meeting a few new faces, this is your space.
Supporting The Marmalade Trust
This event supports the Marmalade Trust, the creators of Loneliness Awareness Week.
They’re leading the conversation around loneliness in the UK, helping to reduce stigma and support those experiencing chronic loneliness.
Loneliness is something most of us feel at some point in life, but when it becomes prolonged, it can impact both mental and physical well-being.
