Kathalyn Martinez is a local children's author and illustrator who lives in Midlothian, Texas. She learned to love reading from her mother, who was also a writer. Her book, Does Grandma Look Like Me?, celebrates diversity in families and portrays a grandparent's love for her grandchildren.
