Meet Hayley Herberg of "Fly with Hayley"
Hayley Herberg is one of general aviation's fastest-growing voices and an inspiring ambassador for the next generation of pilots. Known to hundreds of thousands of aviation enthusiasts through her Fly with Hayley social media channels, Hayley has built a loyal audience by sharing authentic adventures, practical flight knowledge, and the joy of personal aviation. A Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and ferry pilot, Hayley has flown everything from training aircraft to high-performance Diamond airplanes while helping pilots develop their skills and confidence. She has instructed new aviators, ferried aircraft across the country, and today works closely with Premier Aircraft and Diamond Aircraft while continuing to document her flying adventures.
Unlike many professional pilots whose goal is the airlines, Hayley chose a different path—one centered on freedom, adventure, education, and the unique lifestyle that general aviation makes possible. Her philosophy is simple: flying should remain something you love. That perspective has made her a relatable role model for aspiring aviators, aircraft owners, and anyone considering taking their very first flight lesson.
Based near Lake Tahoe, Hayley owns and flies her beloved 1966 Beechcraft Debonair, affectionately known as "Deb," while continuing to expand her experience through mountain flying, ferry operations, aircraft ownership, and aviation storytelling. Her videos provide an inside look at aircraft ownership, cross-country flying, maintenance, decision-making, and the adventures that make general aviation unlike anything else.
Today, Hayley is recognized as one of aviation's most influential digital creators, inspiring thousands of future pilots—especially young women—to see that aviation is accessible, exciting, and filled with opportunity.
