Cathy has been a stylist since 1981. She worked at a small local salon, then had bigger aspirations in the industry, so she went to Pivot Point international in Chicago to get her teaching license.
She was then asked to stay to teach the undergraduate and advanced classes, and to do platform work for the shows. After 20 years, life changed, and Cathy went back to working in a salon, and started taking business classes to be prepared to one day own her won salon. On April 1st, 2013, anfter raising her son, O’Hara and Friends Salon opened. Cathy has been taking care of clients and doing community service ever since.
We are a community of businesswomen, with a few men, coming together to create a supportive network and valuable resources to pave the way for success.
