Mix betrayal and heartbreak with toxic friends and family, and you have a Stefanie Nici novel.
Stefanie credits her love of fiction to growing up as an only child in a quiet, remote area, where there wasn't much to do but read, watch television, and play with her dolls. She believes the solitude sparked the creativity and desire that would later drive her to tell her own stories.
After dreaming of writing and publishing since childhood, Stefanie finally stopped waiting and took the leap - writing and self-publishing her first novel, The Smoke Tree, in 2019. She is passionate about supporting fellow authors and creating meaningful connections with readers through storytelling and shared experiences. Stefanie is now an award-winning author and lives on Long Island with her family and dog, Harley, and is currently working on her fourth book.
Her books include:
The Smoke Tree - A blindsided Tora is trying to hold her world together while the truth threatens to unravel everything. Tender, tense, and deeply human, it explores the unhealthy relationships we have with those we hold the closest.
The Wishing Stone - Tess wants to revisit Montauk, the place where she spent her happiest childhood summers. Instead, she meets a stranger who brings out the worst in her, and a wishing stone that seems determined to reveal why.
The Indie - is an emotionally rich story about Alexa, an indie author who learns how quickly support can turn into jealousy and betrayal.
