Join us as we welcome, Annette Gagliardi, Poet Laureate of the League of Minnesota Poets. She will be at Zenith Bookstore on Saturday, May 23rd 1-3PM signing her book, Benevolence. Stop in and meet her and get a signed copy of her book for yourself and a friend!Benevolence is a gorgeous poetry collection that examines the uncertainties, joys, and muddled middle ground of being human in our fraught world. Gagliardi’s poems flourish as they address the temporary nature of human existence and the unending beauty of the natural world. Named Poet Laureate for the League of Minnesota Poets, 2025 to 2027, Annette Gagliardi has poetry in over fifty anthologies; has work published in hundreds of magazines online and in-print since 1983. Ponderosa Pines: Days of the Deadwood Forest Fire won the PenCraft award for literary Excellence. Her first poetry book, A Short Supply of Viability was published in 2022. Her chapbook, titled: Caffeinated, won the Literary Titan Gold Book Award for 2024 and an International Impact Best Book Award in April of 2025. She recently won the John C. Rezmerski manuscript award, for her book, Benevolence.
