Want to learn how you can speak up on this year's budget at town meeting? Join me on Saturday morning at Rescue Cafe before the NFIA's Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Livesey Park! I'll be happy to talk about my race for Select Board & answer any questions you have, but I'll also have information about how to participate in town meeting this year, as well as how to run for a seat for future years.
In towns like Fairhaven, while the Finance Committee, Select Board, School Committee & Town Administrator may recommend budget levels & changes to statutes, our budget & bylaws must be approved by Town Meeting. This year's town meeting will take place Saturday, May 2 at Hastings School.
