Purpose led business for social change

Come along to our monthly meet and mingle event in November and you can learn all about purpose led and impact driven businesses, often called social enterprise. Learn how it works, why we do it, how its funded and where it will be going in the future.

Social enterprise is the Welsh governments preferred form of business for the future in Wales, links in with the UN sustainability Goals and the Wellbeing of future generations act. It also helps create thriving, fulfilled entrepreneurs and businesses, in sustainable happy communities, all over the globe.

As entrepreneurs we can often be seen as part of the planets problem, promoting capitalist ideals and searching for profit without understanding the impact this has on the world. With social enterprise we can use all our entrepreneurial skills to become a vital part of the solution to a wide range of social and environmental issues, while running a business and making money. Come and find out how!

At this Meet and Mingle event you will be able to hear all about social enterprise from people who have built their own, supported and funded other peoples social enterprises and then grow your own Social business network during our buffet supper in the Heartspace in Cardiff School of Art and Design.

We will be welcoming to the stage four fantastic social enterprise experts from our local business community. Our experts will each give a short talk and then you will have a chance to chat with them and network over a buffet supper.

Dewch i'n digwyddiad cyfarfod a chymysgu misol ym mis Tachwedd a gallwch ddysgu popeth am fusnesau sy'n cael eu harwain gan bwrpas ac sy'n cael eu gyrru gan effaith, a elwir yn aml yn fenter gymdeithasol. Dysgwch sut mae'n gweithio, pam rydyn ni'n ei wneud, sut mae'n cael ei ariannu a lle bydd yn mynd yn y dyfodol.

Menter gymdeithasol yw’r math o fusnes a ffefrir gan lywodraeth Cymru ar gyfer y dyfodol yng Nghymru, ac mae’n gysylltiedig â Nodau cynaliadwyedd y Cenhedloedd Unedig a Deddf Llesiant cenedlaethau’r dyfodol. Mae hefyd yn helpu i greu entrepreneuriaid a busnesau ffyniannus, bodlon, mewn cymunedau hapus cynaliadwy, ledled y byd.

Fel entrepreneuriaid gallwn gael ein gweld yn aml fel rhan o broblem y blaned, gan hyrwyddo delfrydau cyfalafol a chwilio am elw heb ddeall yr effaith a gaiff hyn ar y byd. Gyda menter gymdeithasol gallwn ddefnyddio ein holl sgiliau entrepreneuraidd i ddod yn rhan hanfodol o'r ateb i ystod eang o faterion cymdeithasol ac amgylcheddol, wrth redeg busnes a gwneud arian. Dewch i ddarganfod sut!

Yn y digwyddiad Cwrdd a Chymysgu hwn byddwch yn gallu clywed popeth am fenter gymdeithasol gan bobl sydd wedi adeiladu eu mentrau cymdeithasol ei hunain, wedi cefnogi ac ariannu mentrau cymdeithasol pobl eraill ac yna wedi tyfu eich rhwydwaith busnes cymdeithasol eich hun yn ystod ein swper bwffe yng Ngofod y Galon yn yr Ysgol Celf a Dylunio, Caerdydd.

Byddwn yn croesawu arbenigwyr menter gymdeithasol cam pedwar o'n cymuned fusnes lleol. Bydd pob un o'n harbenigwyr yn rhoi sgwrs fer ac yna cewch gyfle i sgwrsio â nhw a rhwydweithio dros swper bwffe.
