Meet and Greet With U.S. Senate Candidate Mark York

Mark is a 7th-generation farmer from Lake Wilson, Minnesota. Mark raises corn, soybeans, oats, and pigs with his family in southwest Minnesota. His mom's entire family lives in Steele County, where his uncle still farms.
Mark is a South Dakota State University grad who started his career at Cargill as a data scientist. He studied for a PhD in Computer Science at Harvard, and most recently served as a White House Fellow, where he wrote the White House's critical minerals strategy.

He's running for U.S. Senate as a Republican because he believes that excess red tape has made life unaffordable and job opportunities scarce for Minnesotans. Mark's top three priorities are using AI to prevent fraud, cutting the red tape that makes housing and daycare unaffordable, and making it easy to start businesses and create economic growth here in Minnesota.
