Save the Date! 🩷 We have exciting news to share - Kayla McKeon is coming to North Dakota. As the first registered lobbyist with Down syndrome, Kayla is a spokesperson for NDSS and advocate for the Down syndrome community. Among her many talents, Kayla also helped design the first Barbie doll with Down syndrome. Please join us for a Meet and Greet with Kayla at the Morton Mandan Public Library on Monday, December 16th.
Schedule of Events:
5:30 pm - Enjoy light snacks and refreshments
6:00 pm - Hear from Kayla McKeon and Genevieve Thompson as they speak on the importance of advocacy, the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) organization, and grassroots efforts.
6:30 pm - Bring in your Barbie Doll's with Down syndrome in for Kayla to sign or ask to take a photo with her.
