Mark Hix will be joining us! Frequently lauded as one of Britain’s most eminent chefs and restaurateurs, as well as a food writer for The Telegraph (and more), I'm fortunate enough to of had the pleasure of working with Mark for a number of years now. I'm excited to announce that he will be coming to Chesil Beach Café in Abbotsbury on the 17th August 4pm - 6pm, for a fun and interactive experience involving delicious finds from Mark's foraging to combine with some crab cracking!4pm - Arrival with a glass of wine
Mark will talk about his life in food, how we met and our working partnership over the years, foraging and, it goes without saying, a fishing tale or two. Mark will then explain about the wild edible foods he has freshly foraged locally for you that morning. Whilst educating you also on the delights that can be found growing beneath your feet.
Mark and I will then show you how to 'crab crack' which can be a lot of fun! Whenever we get together there's always a lot of laughter - you can imagine!
Combining both Mark's foraged fayre and the fresh crab... et voilà... your taste buds are in for a real treat! Sit, relax, eat and enjoy whilst taking in the sea air and sharing in the good times!
