About this Event

Meet a Scientist is run by Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Science. The event will be held in the Lindsay Children’s Room and BMO Community Room at the Halifax Central Library from 4-6 PM on July 13th, 2026.

Meet a Scientist is a free, family-friendly event! We welcome potential future students, alumni, and members of the public curious about science to attend. Come explore science fields, ask questions, and learn about exciting research happening right here in Nova Scotia. Click here to learn about the scientists who will be attending.
