Expect an evening that's engaging, welcoming, and full of heart. Our panel features a vibrant group of local trailblazers who bring diverse lived experiences, creativity, humor, and passion to the conversation.

We'll begin the evening with a screening of Parade: Queer Resilience and Love, a powerful documentary exploring the history of Canada's 2SLGBTQIA+ movement. Presented courtesy of the National Film Board of Canada, this inspiring film highlights decades of courage, advocacy, and community.
The evening will continue with a lively panel discussion featuring local changemakers as we explore:
- Queer storytelling
- The power of the arts
- Community building
- Grassroots activism
- Intergenerational knowledge and preserving our shared history

Kenney Fitzpatrick - Founder of The Q, host of Out Loud Radio, and Executive Director of Dance Nova Scotia.
Daniel MacKay - Community activist, Chief Editor of Wayves Magazine, and member of Elderberries.
Jacquelyn Miccolis - Executive Director of Creative Community Impact Association, multidisciplinary artist, and community leader dedicated to creating accessible arts programming and supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.
Art Ross - Trans, non-binary songwriter and lead vocalist of the award-winning queer indie-pop duo Pillow Fite.
Jay Aaron Roy - Trans advocate, entrepreneur, and founder of Cape & Cowl Comics & Collectibles, an inclusive space that supports and welcomes 2SLGBTQIA+ youth.
