Dear Primary School

Primary School Games: Medway Primary School Sportshall Athletics 'Healthy Me' Festival for years 3 and 4 either AM session OR PM session

I am writing to invite your school to participate in the Medway Primary Sportshall Athletics (yrs 3 and 4). The Primary Sportshall Athletics will be held at TBC venue on THURSDAY 30th January 2025 either from 09.30 – 12:30 approx. for the AM session OR 13:00 – 16:00 approx. for the PM session. Please note that the times may vary depending on the amount of teams that enter.

The Festival will be aimed at pupils in years 3 and 4. Teams should consist of a minimum of 9 girls and 9 boys or a maximum of 15 boys and 15 girls in each age group team. There will be both track and field events going on at the same time and sport leaders and other adult organisers in the indoor sports hall, to help athletes.

Each School team will accumulate points from each team members ‘times and distances’ and these will be recorded and final positions will be given for each Primary School. Spectators are allowed. in the sports hall..

I accept that the Greenacre Sports Partnership, Howard School Sports Partnership and any other schools, sports clubs, coaches or leaders present at the competition, shall not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury which may be incurred to a person(s) who takes part in any of the activities stated above. I accept that I am fully responsible for the pupils from my school throughout the competition. This includes gaining parental consent, photographic consent and medical information about each of the pupils prior to the competition. I have read the PSG risk assessment. If you wish to take photos at the competition please register your camera on arrival. There will be an official photographer present at the event and photographs from the day may be used for publicity purposes, including use on websites and social media. If any of your pupils cannot be photographed please ensure the event organisers are aware of this at the start of the event, so an illuminous wristband can be issued.
