Benefits of meditation include reduced blood pressure, a stronger immune system, reduced stress, and greater happiness. Yet most of us aren’t sure how to get started. In this workshop, we will debunk myths about meditating (ie. You must sit cross legged), discuss the benefits, review different techniques, and end with a guided meditation. You will go home with handouts to help incorporate meditation into your daily practice with a goal of reaping the benefits off your meditation cushion!Time: 12:15-1:30pm
Cost: $10 for members / $15 for non-members
