Looking for a mid-week mental reset? Our feature class Meditation & Modern Buddhism has moved to a brand-new time! Join us every Tuesday from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm at Compassion Kadampa Meditation Centre.Led by our Resident Teacher, Gen Norden—a Buddhist nun with over 30 years of experience—these sessions offer much more than just a moment of quiet. You will engage with thought-provoking ideas and explore tried-and-tested Buddhist wisdom that remains incredibly relevant today. Each class features a guided relaxation meditation, a practical talk on philosophy, and a Q&A session, providing you with deep, interesting insights into the nature of the mind and how to navigate life’s challenges with grace.
The best part? This wisdom is for everyone. You don’t need to be a Buddhist or have any prior experience to participate.
Each class is self-contained, so you can drop in whenever you’re ready for a more peaceful, meaningful approach to daily life. We provide the chairs and cushions—you just bring your curiosity.
