Meditation and Interconnectedness
About this Event
"We are here to awaken from the illusion of our separateness."
Thich Nhat Hahn
What would it mean to connect freshly with ourselves, without the usual clamour of ideas, habits and reactions filling up the space of our minds?
How would our everyday life be different if we found ways to tune into the connectedness of everything around us?
The Tibetan Budddhist tradition offers simple practices and perspectives accessible to anyone, which help us to find more ease, clarity and connection in our lives.
This 6-week course explores the practice of meditation—tried and tested over centuries, and more recently by modern science—combined with key ideas which invite us to try a different way of looking at the world.
If you're new to meditation, or Buddhism generally, perhaps you're looking for a good place to start? This is for you.
If you're familiar with meditation practice, perhaps you're curious about what comes next? Or about how interconnectedness figures in the Buddhist path as a whole? This is for you.
If you're a more experienced practitioner, and would like to enliven and enrich your practice. This is for you.
Led by Rigpa UK teachers Dan Ewen and Jonathan Hayward, who bring many years of experience and practice to guiding this course.
