About this Event
Discover the Women of Coventry City Centre on Foot!
Join us for a fun and insightful guided walking tour through Coventry's city centre, celebrating 3 medieval women who had a profound effect on Coventry's history and development. We often think of women in medieval England as being without influence, but this wasn't the full story.
Many people have heard of Lady Godiva, but who was she?
Queen Isabella is sometimes referred to as the she-wolf of France. What has she got to do with Coventry?
And Margaret of anjou, the wife of Henry VI?
On International Women's Day, this in-person event offers a unique chance to explore hidden stories and landmarks while enjoying some fresh air and great company. Whether you're a local or just visiting, come and get inspired by the powerful ladies of Coventry who helped make Coventry the city it is today.
