The Shires of Darach and CarreGwen are co-sponsoring the much loved event, Medieval Marketplace. Come out and support your SCA Small Businesses and get a jump on your Holiday Shopping needs! Mark off your gift List in a fun ,relaxing, and stress -free way. SCHEDULE:
8:00am-9:30am - Site opens---set up; actifun, relaxingam
4:30pm - activities close
5:00pm (sharp!) - need to be off site
REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
Adult Event Registration is $25, with membership, discounted to $15.
Folks 17 years and under are free. Checks and cash are accepted , Checks should be made out to "SCA,Inc/Shire of Darach"
Merchants Registration --We have very limited Merchant space, so please contact Comptesse Albra or Dame Lynette our Merchant Autocrat to RSVP . Please email [email protected]. Due to changing procedures with the Parks Department, we will need to collect your Merchant fee ahead of the event this year. Deadline for this is October 31st. Nonmember Merchants $40. / SCA Member Merchants $30. covers your 12 by 12 foot space, as well as your site fee. Please contact the merchant registration email for more details---
ARTS & SCIENCES:
As this is also an outreach event to help attract local folks to join us in our Love of Things Historical, please 'Bring out your Arts!!!'
There will be an Arts and Sciences Display, with a People's Choice Contest Prize, a 1st and 2nd, awarded to the Worthy Folks voted on by *You*, the Attending Populace , for the day.
It doesn’t matter if it has been entered in other contests Kingdom wide---the lovely folks in Camarillo have not seen it yet:) We'd love to 'awe and impress'--so bring out your BEST , so that we may all be inspired!
Folks who would also like to demo some of your arts passions, portable arts, like spinning , weaving, etc, are also encouraged to come out and demo their Arts!

COMBAT SCENARIOS:
And Fighters!!!! Both Heavy and Rapier!!! Come out for a day of Fighting in the park. Enjoy this opportunity to fight to your heart's content, as well as to show off to the local Camarillo Folks our Chivalry on the field!

From the South: Follow US-101 to Ventura. Take exit 54 for Carmen Dr. Turn right onto Carmen Dr. Then turn right again onto Burnley St. The destination will be on the left.
From the North: Follow the US-101 south to exit 54, Carmen Dr. Exit left onto Ventura Blvd. Stay in the left lane,then turn left onto Carmen Dr. Continue to Burnley St, and turn right. Destination will be on the left.
