The Shires of Darach and Carreg Wen are co-sponsoring the much loved event, Medieval Marketplace. Come out and support your local Merchants on Small Business Saturday for the Holiday Season's shopping needs. Mark off your gift list in a fun, relaxing, and stress free way.
SCHEDULE:
8am site opens
430pm site closes (we need to be off site by 5pm)
REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Adult Event Registration is $20. Adult Member Discount Event Registration is $10. Folks 17 and under are free. Cash or checks accepted at gate. Checks should be made out to “SCA,Inc/Shire of Darach”.
A&S: As this is also an outreach event to attract more Populace to the joys of our SCA Life – there will be Arts Displays – so, please 'Bring out Your Arts'!!! It doesn't matter if it has been shown off before or not – the local Camarillo Folks have not likely seen it yet :) We'd love to 'awe and impress --so bring out your BEST so that we may all be inspired! COMBAT SCENARIOS: And Fighters!!!! Both Heavy and Rapier. Come out for a day of fighting in the park. Enjoy this opportunity to both fight to your heart's content, as well as to show off to the Local Camarillo Folks our Chivalry on the field!
ACTIVITIES: Period Games are planned for both Big and Little folks! Stay tuned for more Details!!
MERCHANTS: We have limited Merchant space, on a first come first served basis for about 18 merchants. $25 reserves a 12 by 12 ft space, plus takes care of your site fee. For more info and to reserve a Merchant spot, please email [email protected].

From the North: Follow US-101 S to Ventura Blvd in Camarillo. Take exit 54 from US-101 S. Merge onto US-101 S. Keep left to stay on US-101 S. Keep left to stay on US-101 S. Take exit 54 toward Ventura Blvd. Continue on Ventura Blvd to your destination. Use the left lane to turn left onto Ventura Blvd. Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto Carmen Dr. Turn right onto Burnley St. Destination will be on the left.
