Set in 1474, England is again at war with France. Whilst the majority of English forces are away, a French raiding party has landed on the coast and seeks to seize Arundel Castle, and pillage along the South Coast. With only a small garrison force remaining to *defend the castle, can the Earl’s household withstand this attack and hold the castle until the Earl returns.
With three tented encampments portraying 15th century crafts, cooking weapons and armour, **have a go activities including archery, axe throwing, warrior training plus a craft tent, and two skirmishes each day , there is plenty to transport visitors back into this turbulent time in England's history. The other arena events include falconry demonstrations, a fire eater as well as Arundel Castle’s renowned Kids Battles.
