Medicine Waves: Grounding

An intimate conscious dance gathering in Austin.

Inspired by Ecstatic Dance, this is a slower, more spacious sonic journey guided by a live DJ. The music is the medicine. It leads. We listen. We move. Or be still.

Movement is welcome but optional. You may dance, stretch, sway, or simply lie down with a pillow and blanket and receive. Some will journey collectively. Some will travel inward on their own. Both are equally honored.

Silence is sacred here. The soundscape is the guide, and we protect that container together.

Expect:

The Schedule:

7:00 PM – Doors Open
7:25 PM – Doors Close (This is a closed container.)
7:30 PM – Opening Circle
7:45 PM to 9:45 PM – ** Grounding Dance Journey with Sound Bath elements **
9:45 PM to 10:00 PM – Closing Circle
10:00 PM to 10:30 PM – Optional Social Time

No shoes on the dance floor.
No conversations once we begin.
Cell phones off.
Consent is practiced through eye contact and energetic awareness.

Capacity is intentionally limited to preserve intimacy.

Bring water. Bring a pillow or blanket if you’d like to lie down. Wear something comfortable. Arrive open.
