About this Event
Join us for an evening with the Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) Arts team, who lead CUH’s arts-in-health programme. They are dedicated to promoting wellbeing, humanising healthcare, and improving the hospital experience by providing meaningful creative and cultural opportunities.
Our speakers are:
- Rosie O’Donovan, interim head of arts at CUH
- Akua Obeng-Frimpong, arts producer at CUH
- Filipa Pereira-Stubbs, dance artist
Rosie, Akua and Filipa will introduce the practice of creative health, the programmes run at CUH, and the impacts and benefits for patients and staff.
In addition to the talk, we will have a simple creative activity exploring writing for wellbeing and no creative experience is required. Information stands will also be available for our two new specialist hospitals (Cancer Research and Children’s), patient and public involvement, and Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust.
Creative activity and information stands will be available from 5:45pm to 6:30pm in the rear corridor on Level 2 near the lecture theatre. The talk will start from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
The venue is located on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, opposite the Addenbrooke's A&E department.
We look forward to seeing you there!
