Event OverviewJoin us for an immersive, multi-sensory workshop led by Dr. Leslie Solomonian, ND, where you'll discover the medicinal herbs growing in our community garden and learn about their traditional uses.This beginner-friendly session will introduce participants to a variety of healing plants through guided exploration, discussion, and hands-on activities, you'll deepen your connection with the natural world while enjoying a fresh cup of herbal tea. Whether you're new to herbal medicine, interested in gardening, or simply curious about the plants growing around you, this workshop offers an engaging introduction to medicinal herbs.

Registration: Registration is not required.
Finding the Garden
Walk toward the parking lot and continue past the entrance to the parking garage. Continue toward the fenced garden. The entrance gate is located in the centre of the fence.
We encourage visitors to use public transit whenever possible. Paid visitor parking is available at 53 Thorncliffe Park Drive, though spaces are limited. Washrooms & WaterWashrooms and a water fountain are available inside the nearby library/community centre, approximately a 3-minute walk from the garden.
What to BringPlease come prepared with:
- A mug for herbal tea
- A reusable water bottle
- Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, etc.)
