Whether you are doubtful buying in stores or interested in making your own fungal medicines come join Fork in the Path for a presentation exploring the intersections of fungal biochemistry mushrooms & the functional & medicinal mushroom industry. We will also cover some DIY techniques nutrition & interpreting product labels.
Presenter
This program is presented by Ryath Fujita Beauchene a Californian mycological educator and Vice President of the Sonoma Mycological Association. Ryath has been a mushroom forager cultivator and researcher for 16 years and teaches about fungal ecology ethnomycology mushroom identification & cultivation fungalism and the functional mushroom industry. He is a co-steward of Moon Fruit Mushroom Farm and Symbiiotica as well as a trained horticulturist with a particular interest in adaptogens ethnomycology cooking semantics symbiosis and how ecosystem health includes human health. It is Ryath's hope that by showing people the valuable potency of natural medicines that we may become more devoted and reciprocal in our relationships to our planet's diverse ecologies and peoples.
