Medicare Open Enrollment Presentation :October 2, 2025
The Hidden Valley Lake POA is pleased to host an informative and helpful session for our community members who are preparing for Medicare Open Enrollment this fall.
On Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 2:00 PM, representatives from SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Program) will be here in the Community Room located in the lower level of the Community Center. SHIP is a trusted, state-supported program that provides free, unbiased, and confidential guidance to Medicare beneficiaries. Their trained counselors are not affiliated with any insurance company—meaning you’ll receive clear, impartial information tailored to your needs.
This session is designed to help you:
Understand the Medicare Open Enrollment period and key dates.
Compare plans and coverage options for 2026.
Learn about supplemental insurance (Medigap) and prescription drug plans.
Identify potential cost savings and avoid common enrollment mistakes.
Ask questions about your unique situation in a relaxed, supportive setting.
Even if you’re already enrolled in Medicare, it’s important to review your coverage each year, as plan benefits, premiums, and prescription drug formularies can change. SHIP counselors will help you navigate these changes so you can make informed decisions.
