Media Mingle: Open Book Club 📚
Join us for our special edition of Media Mingle: Open Book Club!
As the summer winds down, we're inviting all book lovers in our community to come together and share the stories that captured their imaginations this season. This is your chance to present and discuss your favorite book from the summer, whether it's a captivating novel, a fascinating non-fiction read, or a unique literary gem. Each presentation should be a quick 5-minute highlight of your chosen book, offering a glimpse into why it stood out to you and why others might enjoy it too.
After everyone has presented, we’ll have time for mingling, discussing the books, and even swapping books among participants. If a book piques your interest, you might find a new addition to your reading list! Plus, our Media Lounge will be open for lending, so you can borrow from our selection of books, including many from German and European authors.
Guidelines for Presentations:
Length: Maximum 5 minutes per presentation.
Content: While all books are welcome, we encourage selections with a connection to Germany or Europe, whether through the author, setting, or theme.
Participation: No prior experience required—just a love for reading and sharing!
