Media Diversity Australia Industry Round Table

MDA’s Media Industry Round Table hosted at Nine Entertainment

Date: Friday 20th September (10am – 11:30am) MDA members will remain until 1:30pm

Venue: Nine North Sydney offices

Building on the momentum of our inaugural Round Table held last year at SBS, and following on from the 5 follow up working group meetings held over the course of the past year, this year’s round table will be bigger and better!

Format:

We have extended the format of the event to allow a greater number of industry guests to be able to attend alongside our usual media member executive representatives.

The first part of the event (10am to 11:30am, followed by 30 minutes of networking) will be open to Industry guests and Minister Burke will deliver a keynote, followed by a panel discussion.

The second part (12 noon to 1:30pm) will be operating under chatham house rules and only open to MDA members who will be engaging in round table discussions.

Expected attendees:

• Executives from Nine, SBS, ABC, Seven, News Corp Australia, AAP, The Guardian, The Daily Aus, The Conversation Media Group, Private Media Group, ARE Media, Junkee Media
• Representatives from each member (CEO/Managing Director, representatives from executive team & lead D,E & I representatives)
• Industry wide guest representatives from across the sector
• State and Federal Government representatives
