🩺 MECCSIG PRE-CLINICAL CRITICAL CARE WORKSHOP 💉
MECCSIG is excited to announce our Semester 2 Pre-Clinical Workshop for Year 1 and 2 students! This is a fantastic opportunity to get a head start and learn clinical skills that you otherwise would not encounter until later in the degree.
⭐️ Come along to gain hands-on experience and familiarise yourself with the core procedures you will need for your clinical placements. We will be running four interactive stations:
Wound management and Suturing: Practice suturing on our models and learn about dressing type!
Plastering: Learn the basics of immobilisation and fracture management!
IV Cannulation: Get to grips with intravenous access!
Simulated Case: Manage a critical patient in a realistic scenario!
👤 WHO: Pre-clinical students (Years 1 and 2)
📅 WHEN: Monday 3rd August, 5:30pm to 8:00pm
📍 WHERE: Monash University, Clayton Campus
🍽️ DINNER: Included with your ticket!
