Mebratey Habesha Dance Class - KIDS SPECIAL
About this Event
Give your child the opportunity to stay active, build confidence, and connect with culture through movement!
Designed for youth ages 7–17, this fun and energetic class introduces participants to traditional dances, rhythms, sounds, and movements from the diverse cultures and regions of Ethiopia and Eritrea. Youth will learn authentic tribal and cultural dances while enjoying an exciting aerobic workout in a supportive, age-appropriate environment.
No dance experience is needed—beginners and experienced dancers are all welcome!

Info: A quick overview of different Ethiopian and Eritrean tribes and regions, highlighting their unique sounds and styles of movement. This segment will include short dance demonstrations inspired by these cultures, featuring rhythms and dances not covered in the main class.
