Latinxs don’t barbecue; we make Asado, aka Parrilla. This is more than just grilling—it’s a culinary happening, a collective celebration where La Carne (meat dishes) signifies a rite of passage. Friends, family, and communities unite to memorialize crucial life events with rich, slow-cooked flavors, weaving shared moments in the heat and smoke. LaLoVe’s Kitchen reinvents this ritual, curating a whole MEATLESS Asado experience. Animal-free meals become a cultural drama mixed with impromptu live music by/with Utopyk & El Fulminador, in a tribute to Aérea Negrot. An evening of food, friendship, fantasy and the unexpected.
