Measure up / Nous mesurons ensemble

In this workshop, the adult and child will work together to determine a variety of different measurement components like: weight, height, length, capacity, area and temperature. You will not be using standard tools, like rulers and equations, to determine your measurements! Be prepared to change your way of thinking: How tall do you think an apple is using mini-marshmallows? How many teddy bear figurines does a rock weigh? How many sprays of water does it take to soak a piece of paper? Come count, weigh, estimate and measure with us. A light snack will be measured out.

Age Range: 4-6 year olds, with an adult

Dans cet atelier, l'adulte et l'enfant travailleront ensemble pour déterminer une variété de techniques de mesure différente comme: poids, taille, longueur, capacité, surface et température. Vous n'utiliserez pas d'outils standard, comme les règles pour déterminer vos mesures! Soyez prêt à changer votre façon de penser: Combien de pulvérisations d'eau faut-il pour tremper un morceau de papier? Venez compter, peser, estimer et mesurer avec nous. Une collation légère sera mesurée.
