About this Event

Welcome to Meant to Bee

A gentle, screen-free community space created for quiet connection, self-compassion, and low-pressure creativity for all ages.

Located in the private Community Room at Woodland West Library, this gathering offers a relaxing and creative experience. Whether you choose to explore a guided activity, swap a favorite book, bring your own project to work on, or simply sit in quiet company and enjoy soft background music in a safe, welcoming space, there is zero pressure to perform. Every station is completely self-paced, and all craft supplies are provided, no supplies needed!

Creative & Craft Stations

Marbled Paper Leaves: Swirl autumn paints into shaving cream trays and press cardstock leaves onto the foam to reveal vibrant, marbled fall foliage.

Foliage Mobile Assembly: Wrap wooden hoops with ribbon or twine, attach your marbled leaves, and add pinecones or wooden beads to create a cozy hanging mobile.

Community Book Swap: Bring a pre-loved book or two to exchange for a new-to-you title from our community table (all ages and genres welcome).

Open Craft & Quiet Rest Table: Bring your own personal project (knitting, mending, journaling, sketching, or embroidery) to work on at your own pace, or simply sit back and relax.

Cozy Tea Station

Enjoy fresh tea catered by HTeaO as you unwind, browse, and create.
