MEANDROS TEACH-IN: CALLING ALL FUTURE MEANDERTHALS!

The concrete is cracking. The watershed is waking. The Meanderthals are gathering.
Join us for our next Meandros Teach-In at Metabolic Studio. Meandros is a distributed network of small but mighty acts of ecological repair: un-paving forgotten corners, reintroducing living soil systems, catching rain where it falls, and helping Los Angeles remember its floodplains one site at a time. If you have access to a patch of concrete, whether you’re part of a nonprofit, a school or a community garden, or have access to a backyard, a driveway, a church lot with a patch of concrete—we’d love to talk.
At this teach-in, we’ll share how Meandros works, what support Metabolic Studio can offer, and how we might collaborate on everything from official un-pavings to more playful, guerrilla-style interventions. We’ll also have food provided by a local street vendor, through Inclusive Action for the City.
Using landslide soil, seed, water, and collective care, each Meandros site becomes part of a growing cyborg watershed—an experiment in repair and reciprocity.
Another watershed is possible—and it needs you in its flow.
