Featuring the students of Theatre New Brunswick's Senior Musical Theatre program, Mean Girls - High School Version, is a fearless musical comedy, based on the 2004 hit film, about chasing popularity and being true to yourself.Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this wide-eyed newcomer rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. But when Cady and her friends cook up a plan to shake up the status quo, she soon discovers that popularity comes with a price, and that playing the game can change you in unexpected ways.
