Gov. Raymond P. Shafer Award For Distinguished Community Service
This award is co-sponsored by Shafer Law Firm, Allegheny College, and the Meadville-Western Crawford County Chamber of Commerce. It recognizes an individual who had a positive impact on the quality of life in western Crawford County through his/her VOLUNTEER SERVICE to our community.
The award selections are based on the nominee's volunteer efforts and commitment of time, accomplishments, community impact and enhancement of the lives of others.

2025 Diamond Award Nominations
Award Categories:
• New Business of the Year (ownership of less than 3 years)
• Small Business of the Year (1-15 employees)
• Mid-Size Business of the Year (16-49 employees)
• Large Business of the Year (50 or more employees)
• Emerging Leader Award (Bright Leader for Tomorrow, under 40 yrs. old; an individual award)
• Small Non-Profit of the Year (Annual budget of under $500,000)
• Large Non-Profit of the Year (Annual budget of over $500,000)
And introducing a new award this year: Meadville Chamber Community Champion (a local citizen who has gone above and beyond)
