This practical workshop is designed for gardeners and nature enthusiasts who want to bring the beauty of meadows and wildflowers into their garden spaces.The workshop covers everything from developing existing lawns to creating meadow-inspired features from scratch. You’ll learn site preparation, choosing the right seed mixes or plug plants, and essential maintenance techniques, including mowing regimes, managing fertility, and balancing a “wild” look with intentional design.
We’ll also highlight how these plantings attract pollinators and other beneficial wildlife, making your garden more dynamic and ecologically valuable. By the end of the session, participants will have the knowledge and confidence to successfully establish and care for meadow-style garden features tailored to their own space supporting pollinators while remaining both manageable and visually appealing.
