Mead Brewing 101 with the Green Mountain Mashers

If you’ve ever been interested in making your own mead, you might be surprised to learn it’s easier than you think! In this class we’ll walk through the basics of making mead, a honey tasting, a discussion on the history of mead, other ingredients used, and a quick demonstration of how easy it is to make. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of honey, a basic recipe, and a list of what you’ll need to be successful in making your own batch at home!

This class will be led by Kyle Ducharme, a veteran mead maker and President of the Green Mountain Mashers, and will be held in the Community Room of the South End City Market location
