M**der Mystery Night with Dinner: Fatal Eclipse of the Heart

Step into the shadows of Lyde Court for a night of mystery, intrigue, and deadly secrets in Fatal Eclipse of the Heart. It’s 2046, four years after previous Prime Minster Saxon unleashed a neutron bomb at the opening of Parliament. Roger ap Gwillam has clawed his way to a second term as Prime Minister of the Eclipse Party. At his secluded new country retreat, Camp Dafydd, he hosts his first media meeting amongst a select group of election lottery winners. But as the night deepens, tensions rise, secrets emerge, and not everyone will live to file their story. An interactive M**der mystery event at Lyde Court, brought to you by the wonderful Death On Demand Team!

Enjoy a delicious three-course dinner, all while you gather clues and interact with the suspects throughout the evening. As you dine, you’ll have the chance to interrogate the suspects and piece together the mystery.

Teams of 8 will work together, but don’t worry if you can’t make up the numbers—we’ll find you some teammates! Fancy dress is encouraged, so come dressed to impress in your best detective or vintage attire.

Starter
“First Cut” Bruschetta
Fresh vine tomatoes, garlic, basil, and olive oil atop toasted sourdough—crisp, vibrant, and just a little too perfect.

Main Course
“Bloody Secrets” Beef Bourguignon
Slow-cooked beef in rich red wine, with shallots, mushrooms, and herbs—simmered long enough to hide any evidence.

A hearty, guilt-free dish of butterbeans, seasonal vegetables, and warming spices—comfort food for those with nothing to hide… or so they say.

A sweetly tart pie with a dark fruit heart, wrapped in golden pastry—because even the most innocent hearts hide something within.
