Please ensure you arrive early at the Speakeasy (Copperhead Creek) for check-in. You'll meet the cast of possible suspects and our M**der victim, setting the stage for for the mystery. This private event is not only a thrilling experience but also a fundraiser for the Batavia Players.

Event Timeline & Breakdown

Welcome to the roaring 1920s, where the charm of jazz meets the mystery of moonshine. The night promises glamour, intrigue, and a deadly twist!

6:30 PM – 7:00 PM: Guest Arrival & Signature Cocktail Hour

• Welcome to the Speakeasy! Guests arrive and are greeted with a signature cocktail to set the 1920s mood.
• Signature Cocktail: The Moonshine Mayham Cocktail
• Guests mingle, take in the speakeasy atmosphere, and meet some of the key figures from Copperhead Creek Speakeasy.

7:00 PM – 7:10 PM

• Lights, action! The first scene sets the tone as the residents of Copperhead Creek Speakeasy welcome the crowd. Tensions simmer as characters reveal old grudges and unresolved business.
• Guests should pay close attention to these early interactions—there are clues even now!

7:10 PM – 8:30 PM: Mingle & Investigate

• Mingle and sip! Guests are welcome to purchase signature cocktails and tasty treats while interacting with the cast.
• Use the conversation starters and clues handed out earlier to uncover secrets.
• Look for hidden clues around the room and talk to every suspect, as there’s more to be learned between scenes.

8:30 PM – 8:40 PM

• A fatal twist! A prominent figure in the speakeasy meets their end in a shocking turn of events. Poisoned whiskey claims a victim, and everyone is a suspect.
• The room erupts in panic, and accusations start to fly. Who had the motive and opportunity?

8:40 PM – 10:00 PM: Investigation Time & Clue Gathering

• The investigation begins! Armed with clues from the scenes, guests are now invited to interrogate the cast members, seek out new information, and solve the mystery.
• Explore more of the speakeasy, keeping your eyes peeled for hidden objects or overheard conversations.
• Signature cocktails continue to flow as the tension builds.

10:00 PM – 10:10 PM

• Whodunit? The murderer is revealed in a final showdown! Characters confront each other, and the truth behind the M**der is laid bare.
• Guests find out if their suspicions were correct, or if they were misled by the many red herrings.

10:10 PM – 11:00 PM: Closing Remarks & Prizes

• Toast to the night! Thank the guests for participating, and announce the winners who correctly solved the mystery.
• Drinks for those who deduced the murderer, and photo opportunities with the cast.
• Enjoy a final cocktail and a last round of jazz as the night winds down.
