Join us for an elegant dinner and an evening of 200 years of dark Galena history, eerie folklore, and true Galena ghost stories, with a special touch of music.
Hear infamous murders, tragedies and hauntings that have lingered throughout our history.
The Haunted Galena Tour Company and the DeSoto House Hotel are proud to present this year's annual Halloween Dinner and Show on Friday, October 30th, 2026. Doors to the Grand Ballroom of the DeSoto House Hotel open at 5:30 p.m. The Grand Ballroom is located on the main floor of the hotel. There will a cash bar featuring beer, wine, and mixed drinks. The cash bar will open at 5:30. The bar will be open until the performance begins.
Dinner service will begin at 6:00 sharp; dinner will consist of 3 courses. First, a house salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing and warm dinner roll. Second, choice of one dinner entree-a Pretzel Crusted Walleye with mustard sauce and served with baby red mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables, a New York Strip Steak cooked medium (other cook temperatures are not available) with a cabernet reduction sauce and served with baby red mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetable, OR a Parmesan Reggiano Ravioli. Finally, a Chocolate Mousse Dirt Pudding. When purchasing your ticket, please select the add-on for the entree you prefer. The Haunted Galena Tour Company will perform "M**der and Mayhem In A Mining Town" following dinner service with an approximate start time of 7:30 PM. The show has an approximate duration of 60 minutes with expected end time 9:00 PM.
Parking is available on the streets surrounding the hotel as well as city lots around the downtown area. Parking inside the hotel's parking garage is limited to those guests who are staying overnight in the hotel.
SEATING IS ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS. Spots will not be reserved for groups or individuals .If you're part of a large group that would like to sit together, we advise you to arrive early. TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
