At 26 years old, McKensie was born, raised, and currently resides in Kitsap County with her boyfriend, Kobi, and their cats, Milo and Boo. Over the spring and summer, she and Kobi were part of a local band, “Salad Daze,” and released an EP during that time. McKensie has always been drawn to the arts, whether through music or physical art. Her journey with music began at the age of eight when she started playing instruments in school, though she was always disappointed she couldn’t join the choir as well, given her love of singing.
Her passion for beading started in 2022 when she attended Coachella for the first time and created a bracelet for herself. This interest deepened during Taylor Swift’s tour, which inspired her to create 68 Taylor Swift-themed bracelets, along with bracelets for friends’ birthdays, beaded wall art for her room, and beaded curtains for every window in her home. She even made beaded decorations as gifts for friends, thoroughly enjoying the creative process.
In 2023, McKensie began crocheting, expanding her skills significantly over the summer and holidays in 2024.
