Bring the whole family downtown and enjoy our charming Living Windows displays, where storefronts come alive with holiday scenes and performances. Purchase a keepsake mug and stroll through downtown during our Cocoa Crawl, sipping your way through holiday treats and cheer as you explore local shops.

🦌 SATURDAY November 22 | Sleigh Rides, Santa & the Tree Lighting

✨ FREE Sleigh Rides around Veteran’s Memorial Park
🎅 Visit Santa under the gazebo
🎪 Local chamber businesses hosting kids’ games and activities
🛍️ Holiday shopping & special deals throughout town

As the evening wraps up, gather with the Mayor, the Chamber, and the community as we flip the switch to illuminate thousands of twinkling lights in the park and along the downtown streets — a magical McHenry tradition!

Then… the fun continues!
🌙 Throw on your PJs and hop aboard the trolley for our Polar Express Pub Crawl — an adults-only night of festive stops supporting our local bars and restaurants.

🤶 SUNDAY November 23 | Come watch the Toys for Tots Parade, Planned by the Parks and Recreation Department where we collect toys to be used in the Toys for Tots program.
