Info: Turning School Safety Intelligence Into Action.
Modern safety systems can detect more than ever before. Gunshots, weapons, open doors, unusual activity, environmental conditions, panic events and other threats can increasingly be identified by technology. Often before someone has time to make a phone call. Yet many schools and facilities are only beginning to understand just how much detection technology is available today, or how it can fit into a larger safety strategy.
But detection is only the beginning. Once something is identified, what happens next? Who receives that information? What systems respond?
In this session, we’ll explore the expanding world of detection technology and the critical connection between detection, response and communication. We’ll look at how modern IP-based communication systems can become a more active part of a facility’s safety infrastructure, including the evolving capabilities of AtlasIED IPX and AIX.
