MCF and Hands of Love - A Heartfelt Christmas for Helen Keller Students and TeachersOn this final day of school, the Southeast Asia Missing Children’s Foundation (MCF), led by its co-executive directors Tina Toro and Michelle Tran, alongside the Hands of Love initiative, were honored to spread joy to the incredible students and teachers at Helen Keller School. Every student received a Christmas toy to brighten their holiday season, while every teacher was gifted premium cosmetics, recognizing their often underappreciated dedication and selfless support for our children.
Teachers are the quiet heroes of our communities, guiding our youth despite the challenges they face. It is our sincere belief at MCF that their invaluable work deserves recognition, appreciation, and meaningful support.
Our event, made possible with the leadership of Ms. Grace Funes, who truly served as a God-given liaison, was a testament to the power of collaboration. This act of service was not just a celebration of Christmas but a reaffirmation of our mission: to serve communities that not only need help but want to help and, most importantly, deserve help.
We extend our warmest wishes for a Merry Christmas to all the students, teachers, and families at Helen Keller. Your smiles, joy, and gratitude inspire us to continue our work in communities like yours.
We eagerly look forward to our future partnerships and the upcoming meeting with Dr. Martinez, District Student Services Director, and Dr. Green, District Community Schools Coordinator, to explore more ways to uplift and support your families.
