The 2025 Louisburg Labor Day Parade is coming up and you are invited to join us on our Peter Pan "Never Grow Up" Themed Float!
When: Monday, September 1st - Parade begins at 10am - please arrive between 9:15-9:45am.
Where: Look for our pirate ship near the Farmer's Market! We will send out an update of our exact location once we line up. Dancers can be picked up at MCDM after the parade.
Who: All dancers ages 3+. We will also need parent volunteers to hand out fliers. Please let us know if you can help out :-). Of course we always love to have "big dancers" help out as well ;-)
What to Wear: Please wear Peter Pan items if you have them! Think Pirates, Tinkerbell or Mermaids. This could be a skirt or dress with wings, mermaid tails, fun pirate hats or eye patches, have fun with your Peter Pan themed fashion! Of course studio logo gear or a past recital costume is always welcome. Parents are encouraged to dress up as well to really go along with the "Never Grow Up" theme! Please make sure to wear sneakers.
Float info: We will have covered hay bales and quilts on the floor for seating on our "pirate ship" - please bring a quilt if you can!
What to bring: water bottle, candy, and must wear sneakers.
We will also have…Fairy tattoos, hand fans, popsicles, water, lollipops, ribbon sticks, and a "safe guard" rail on float trailer provided.
