McCook, Neb. – The McCook Farm & Ranch is returning to the Red Willow County Fairgrounds on Friday and Saturday November 22-23, 2024. The show opens at 9 a.m. on both days and closes at 6 p.m. on the first day and 4 p.m. the second day. Admission and parking are free.
"It's a great place to come see the newest and latest in farming and ranching practices and technology, we are expecting 350 vendors from 22 states, Canada & Australia.
There will be a free producer’s breakfast from 7:30am -9am on Saturday November 22nd. Come join us for some great food and friendly faces.
Exhibitors include displays for farm and ranch equipment, seed and chemicals, agricultural services, irrigation manufacturers, financial providers, commodity organizations, colleges, governmental services, home services, furniture and art galleries and much, much more. We will also have seminars and forums going on throughout both days of the event.
The Working Ranch & Prospect Horse Sale will be on Friday Nov. 22nd starting at 6:00pm. The sale will showcase some of the best working horses for sale in the state that will be sold to the highest bidder. This event is sponsored by Tres Rios Silver. The top seller and top buyer will receive a beautiful handmade belt buckle by Tres Rios Silver. Along with the horse sale many local FFA Chapters will have a project that will be auctioned off with all proceeds going back to that chapter.
Bryce Combs Horse Training will be displayed this year at the expo. She will be showcasing her horse training techniques both days at the expo. Bryce has been around horses all her life. Her love for horses and desire to train them began long ago and she has quite a talent. Bryce Combs Horse Training is sponsored by Schaffert Repair.
Friday will feature a mutton bustin’ with some lucky rider to receive a belt buckle. Please call to enter your kiddo for the chance to win.
Saturday will be the FEATURED Southwest Nebraska Kids Rodeo Championship Finals. This will be a fun event to come and watch.
The finals for the Mini Bull/Bronc and Championship Mutton Bustin’ will be held at the McCook Farm and Ranch Expo on November 23, 2024, in McCook, Nebraska. You must enter at least 3 rodeos to qualify for the finals! The top two winners from each rodeo will go to the finals in McCook, Nebraska at the McCook Farm and Ranch Expo in November. There is a $2,000 bonus added at finals for the mini bulls and bronc competitions, so make sure you don't miss this exciting opportunity!
Red Willow Rodeo Royalty queens from the area will be at the expo both days signing autographs and helping with the free breakfast. There will be several drawings at the expo and a beer garden to quench that thirst.
